Last Friday 15th, we all got together at The Alma for drinks and nibbles to celebrate the start of a new year of Spanish teaching, welcome new members, and talk about the upcoming STASA events.

Our President, Javier Díaz, also took the opportunity to share details about one of STASA’s upcoming events of the year, Immersion Day, and the launch of our website as an convenient way to share what we do and keep parents, students, schools, communities, and teachers informed of our events and activities throughout the year.

Of course, as the theme for this networking event was celebrating the anniversary of timeless cartoon and TV characters in the Spanish speaking world, we had heaps of fun sharing memories about the heroes of our childhood! Goku, Mafalda, El Chavo, Chespirito, La Chilindrina and many more were present in the memory of our attendees this day!
